“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven” says the preacher. A time to weep, and a time to laugh: a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Ecclesiastes 3:1,4) Although God's thought for His children is good (Jeremiah 29:11), but individuals naturally share in both the positive and negative experiences of life, including the youth. Take for examples Joseph was well beloved of the father but his brothers hated him and sold him into Egypt. He became a slave in Potiphar's house from where he went into prison. He later became the Prime Minister in Egypt. David was a young nationalist when King Saul drove him out of the city into the jungles.
It took Him thirteen years of troubles and unpleasant experiences in exile before he later became the king of Israel. Jesus Christ, our Lord went through the rough road to Calvary before He was glorified. Hard times usually proceeds harvest times. The darkness is always darkest before the dawn of a bright day. Whatever experience you may be having, cheer up! You will soon praise the Lord.
As you venture into the new day's opportunities, remember that God is interested in you. He knows what you are passing through. He knows what your financial situation, family needs, health condition, and he cares. All you need to do is to cheer up! And pray. He cares. God knows your spiritual hunger and social desires too. He is deeply concerned about you and He is touched with the feeling of your infirmities (Hebrews 4:15). So than cheer up! And pray for you shall yet praise Him.
Challenge: God knows about all my troubles/trials
Prayer: Give me strength and succour to break through hard times in life, Oh God.
