At the point when a sinner is genuinely repenting of his sins, he receives salvation by grace through faith. It is the gift of God for all who will believe (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 2:11-13).
The grace of God that brings salvation makes the believer to live in newness of life and to render service to God and man. The Christian is empowered with the grace to serve and help through giving. The true proof of believer's love for God is by giving his tithes and offerings. Youngsters are not excluded from this obligation. We must give our best of time, talent, money, possession and life to God from our youth. The grace to give is at your disposal if only you will explore the opportunity to give to God willingly, voluntarily and cheerfully, “For God loveth a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
There is joy in giving to God and man. If you can look around, there are people that need your love, kindness and also your cash. When you begin to give, you begin to get. John Wesley counselled, “Make all you can, save all you can and give all you can”. Give whether you have or lack, for “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).
You can start to give today. If you have not given your life to Christ, that is the best place to start. You will receive God's grace to give to God, friends, brothers, sisters and all that may ask (Luke 6:30, 38).
Challenge: Give your best to God.
Prayer: Help me God to give my all to Him He who gave His life for me.
